Not All Buying Groups are the Same!
The benefits received from a buying group vary greatly by the discounts they provide, the selection of
vendors offered and the method used to collect fees. All buying groups collect fees, so be careful of those
leading you to believe they don't.
Buying groups who advertise "no fees" are actually some of the more expensive around. In these
cases, the group keeps a portion of the discount provided by the vendor as profit. Most often, this discount
percentage is more than the administration fee charged by groups that pass along the full discount to your
practice.
ADO Offers a $4,000 Annual Cap on Fees
ADO is one of the lowest cost buying groups in the industry and the only national buying group to cap our
fees each year. ADO also provides maximum discounts and administration fees as low as a half percent on select
vendors. Several buying groups offer a lower administration fee when purchases reach a certain point. However,
ADO maximizes your savings by capping your fees. Once your total administration fees reach $4,000, all
administration fees are discontinued enabling you to enjoy full discounts. Regardless of your number of
locations, the cap is always $4,000.
If your practice is billing $80,000 to $100,000 through your current buying group, it is highly likely you
are paying more than $4,000 in fees.
